I've been hanging out mainly on [Pleonast.com|http://pleonast.com] lately,so if want weekly updates, check there. In fact it's about time for me to shut this website down becuase we're disconnecting our home phone and Webtv in order to get a REAL computer in the next few months. However, you can still email us at our yahoo address. I took the ACT in April and got a 23 . I loved the Junior Days trip to Florida College!! Over the past month I've gone to Memphis Banquet,St.Louis with my family for vacay---we went in the Arch! and Owensboro banquet and the lock-in at the Lankford's afterward. Fun stuff!!!
Anyhow,I'll miss this website but like I said, I'll be on Pleonast.com (look me up under PhoenixFire) and CoS still. Love you all!
I can't believe that it is already March and that I haven't updated since, like, NOVEMBER! Well, I guess that's because of basktball and Subway. Anyhow, basktball's over, I'm only at work two or three times a week now and stuff, so I have a bit more time. And I've realized I don't ve to update my Plonast blog every day, too:)
I didn't take the ACT back in December, but I WILL be taking it on April 8. So I have a little less than a month now to bring up my math a little more. What am I shooting fo? At least a a 20, since it's my first time taking it. But I am taking the writing test too so that'll certainly help my score. Our cats, Misty, Luna and Pink are all doing fine. They're crazy! At least Pink and Luna are. And you know what? I still haven't bought the bike or a fish (or two) but I plan on doing that, I just keep putting it off. Kamp is is in,like, 3 months! Well–- it's really a bit longer than that but who cares? I'm so excited! And I can get my license next month, if I don't procrastinate like I did to get my permit! Any how I'd better ta ta.
And btw, I found out you can spell Disney World either way!
Vacation was awesome, the wedding was awesome, DIsneyworld (yes, it is one word!) was cool, I finally got my longtime dream of having Mouse ears. They even have my name, "Tabitha" in cursive on the back. Bought lots of souvenirs. Stayed in the Sheraton World Resort in Orlando. Enjoyed South Bumby Church of Christ...everyone there was so nice! Back to Miami. Everyone there is Cuban. For a full account call me. In Orlando, the only English-Speakers are, well,English. jk. For a full account of my most wonderful family vacation ever, call me!! One thing I will say is, those Sheraton hotel commercials with people jumping on the beds is completely realistic. That is the MOST comfortable bed I've ever slept in! It is truly a sweet sleeper bed:)
Well,it's the end of October and I'm looking forward to Halloween. I haven't dressed up since 6th grade, and I've missed it. I've walked with Gabe while he trick-or-treats,but you know, it just isn't the same.SO! What I plan to do is wear my pink swooshy ball/gown/formal whatchamacallit DRESS and a tiara OR a witch's hat on my head. Maybe I'll pull off Glenda the Good Witch, who knows? The same week as Halloween is our Gospel Meeting with Don Truex, and then that Saturday is my team's first basketball game of the season. (My number's 1. Go Lady Blazers!) Mama highly enjoyed her trip to Houston,TX to visit our family down there. The day she left we all up at like, 4 a.m. We took her to Nashville International. We left. Drive thru Hardees near Cottontown,TN I think...they shorted Dad a hash brown. (Just like the nice guy at China Express forgot the two egg rolls the night before.)He took us to spendthe day with the Kelleys, a co-op day for them, so we were in study hall till about noon, ate at Wendy's, didn't get chili so I didn't have any fingers , har-de-har-har. Went to 4-H. Voted in officers, cool. Then to Dad's office, then after that to Subway to work. Then Home!!!Then Saturday morning to work again. Got off at 3p.m., went to the Shumake's cookout with Leslie Dobbins and Dad and Gabe. Reallllllyyyy fun times there!!! BUT!Our 2001 Buick LeSabre's battery ran down because Dad had the car on listening to the radio witha ll the lights on for the WKU football game, (They won! A very cool game, for a full account ask my Dad:) Couldn't find the car battery to re-charge it. Everyone's concerned. Surely it's not a new-fangled electric car? Later we found out the battery is under the back passenger's seat (where I sit), but no matter, they charged the battery through the spark plugs or something or the other!
Rode back to the commonwealth of Kentucky, state of unbridled spirit. Dropped off Leslie. Went home. After a while, I went to bed. Got up, then went to church at Dunmor with Dad and Gabe, then we ate at the Auburn Subway.(Si, I know I ate at a Subway. I had a melt on Monterey Cheddar bread that we don't have in BG.) Went home. Studied for the Test. Cleaned house some, took a shower, went to church. (This time Lost River, like usual.)Came home. Went to bed eventually.Woke up, went to Allstate with Dad all day, took practice PSATs to prep for the dastardly test. Did etc., watched some old WKU basktball clips on Hilltopper Haven with Gabe and Daddy. Then once Dad was off around 5:30 p.m,we went to get Mama from the Nashville International Airport.Ate at Logan's near Rivergate mall. We have a Logan's Roadhouse in BG now!! I'm really looking forward to eating there! Had a normal school week, then took–––––––
The PSAT, which I studied like crazy for all last week and the week before, went pretty well I guess. Actually it flowed über in Critical reading and in Writing but not so clean in Math. But we'll see. I take the ACT the first time on December 10th. I'm not at work as much now because of school, basketball, church, and social obligations. (This means going to parties and hosting a few meself.Yes, I meant to say meself.) In the past month, other than what I just talked about, I had an awesome time at the International festival (Sept. 24) ate cevapis (Bosnian sausages) listened to Mandorico (a band) bought their new CD for $10 instead of $13, became a true West Wing fan, laughed at Monty Python's Flying Circus reruns, went to WKU football games, Hilltopper Hysteria, formerly known as Midnight Madness– marking the beginning of the WKU basketball teams seasons.(last week) Also watched BGHS's football team blow out Allen County-Scottsville. I can't believe Greenwood High School hasn't won a game yet. And Warren East is doing better than them! Whoa. The football god is seriously throwing around some changes. Went to Homecoming (last Saturday), won some silent auctions at the MMTH or Broadcasting/Journalism tent, whatever you want to call it. Joined Pleonast.com and Xanga.com
Also, back in late September I Visited a friend in Glasgow who I hadn't hung with in ages, she came to Lost River last Sunday but didn't get to come to my house for a HS class devotion. We're going to be getting a kitten-friend for Misty very soon. Oh yeah, I actually went and got my permit on the first try a week ago Wednesday. I could of done it a lot earlier, just didn't have the time.I hope you have a Fantastic Fanatic Free Fall! Wonder who'll win the World Series??
************•••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••****************
Have a Great Summer!
I am enjoying summer vacation more than usual this time...making $$$ at Subway, visiting friends, the best time at Kamp Kennnessee EVER, my Birthday, (July 5) the fact that we are leaving for Miami Florida TODAY! (August 10th) but will be stoping in Nashville (actually Hendersonville) for church but afterward we will drive (actually my Dad will be driving) non-stop (excepting a restaurant/ bathroom break or two) to Miami, because on Friday,August 12, is my cousin's wedding! We will hang out there till sometime on Saturday, then will head for the big shebang, (did I spell that right? Well, you get the general idea) the regular blowout of Florida. I have never been (yes, you can pick yourself up off the ground, I,Tabitha, have been everywhere BUT the Sunshine State.) so naturally I am ecstatic about the whole trip, especially about going to Disney World. Or is it Disneyworld? Ah, well, I'll let you know when I get back. (Around August 19/20) I have been veerrrryy busy with work, reading (hurray for Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince! It is awesome, all my predictions came true...and then some!) going to church, practicing piano ( I actually went and bought Evanesence's My Immortal piano music! Finally!) and so on. We aren't starting back till after Labor Day so I won't give you the whole run-down on what I am taking this year till then...but I will say that yesterday at the (newest) Wal-Mart Supercenter, while vacation shopping with my family I saw–FISH! On sale. I mean, Live Fish. You know, like goldfish! I didn't realize Wal-Mart (of all places!) had fish! And I've had an empty aquarium for the past three years with rocks and everything that my Aunt gave me and I could've had fish (safey put away from the two litters of kittens that have come thru our home, of course:) all this time.
(Without even going to one of the pet stores in Bowling Green! Think about all the times I have been to Wal-Mart with American dollars to spend without knowing I could be finally buying some fish! It makes me feel mental!)
So after vacation not only will I buy a new bike, but some cool pet fish with it. I haven't had a goldfish since I was 7...but that is another story! I hope you are all having an awesome summer! I can't wait to start vacation tonight!
PLEASE!Be considerate to your neighbors and keep your dog on your property,do not let it roam without a leash!
Why???Because I was bit by a dog about a year ago.It was sitting in front of Kroger leashed up.Imagine what it could do to children if it was OFF a leash!! Not to mention some stupid pitbull that just about attacked my brother the other day. And also one of my friends was bit by his own dog a few of months ago...dogs are unpredictable, eh?

_| Ya'all don't have to read all this, it's just so I don't lose it, I don't have anywhere else to store it
so...

Wednesday, May 24, 2006

Frequently Asked Questions (In no exact order)
Q:Are you in college?
A:Uh,no,presently I am still in High School
Q:Where do you go to school?
A:Like 3 million others(or more) in America,I am homeschooled!
Q:Will you be going to Florida College?
A:What do you think I am, a money tree?
